About Lynn Herbert & Co.

Lynn Herbert & Co. was founded in 1994 by Lynn Herbert who had previously practised in Leven since she qualified in 1981. Since then the firm has grown steadily and Lynn has the support of her Senior Associate, Stacey Parker and trainee solicitor Charlotte Cockburn as well as  experienced secretarial and administrative staff.

We are a modern legal practice providing a full range of legal services to the local community. We pride ourselves in providing a friendly, personal, and efficient service to all our clients.

Lynn Herbert

Lynn was born and brought up in Glasgow. She graduated from Glasgow University and then served her apprenticeship with a Glasgow firm before moving to Fife. Lynn deals principally with Court work, including Family Law, Children’s Panel hearings, Criminal Law, Landlord and Tenant, and debt actions.

She is instructed to prepare reports for the court in family cases, is a Notary Public and a member of the Family Law Association.

Lynn is married with two children and in her spare time enjoys outdoor activities, travelling and  reading.

Stacey Parker

Stacey graduated from the University of Dundee in 2008 after obtaining her Diploma in Legal Practice. Stacey advises clients on all aspects of residential conveyancing including house sales, purchases, transfers of title and remortgages as well as advising clients on private client matters such as Wills, Powers of Attorney and Executries.

Stacey was brought up in Fife and has an extensive knowledge of the local property market in Leven and the surrounding areas. Stacey is married with two young daughters and works in the office on a part time basis every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Stacey is also a Notary Public.

Charlotte Cockburn

Charlotte is our Trainee solicitor who joined the firm in April 2018. Charlotte graduated with BA (Hons) in law and Politics in 2015 and then went on to complete her Accelerated LLB at Stirling University and graduated in 2017.

The following year she obtained her Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Strathclyde. In 2016 she also graduated from Bonn University’s Summer School in Intellectual Property Law after having been the only successful Scottish applicant.

Prior to joining the firm Charlotte worked with the Citizen’s Advice Bureau and spent three years working part-time with children. Charlotte enjoys reading, has an interest in history and  likes to go travelling.
